Although evidence dates the game of billiards back to the fifteenth century, the first billiards tournament wasn't put on record until 1878. Billiards seems to have been on an increasingly fast and growing track ever since but no tournament in recent history had been as popular as the twelve year competition held through 1972 at Johnson City, Illinois. Get billiard enthusiasts reminiscing about great players, great tourneys, great games, great memories, and they yearn for those two weeks at Johnson City that drew the world's best players competing in all the games.

Tickets will be held at the DCC Office located in Caesars Casino of Southern Indiana and can only be retrieved by the cardholder with the original credit card of purchase and a valid photo ID with signatures such as a state ID, driver's license, or passport. 2025 eVENT SCHEDULE AT Caesars Southern Indiana DERBY CITY CLASSIC

 

  • Registration begins at 4 PM on Thursday, Jan 16th. The tournament room will close daily from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. for cleaning.
  • Practice will be available from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and play to start at 10 a.m. daily.
  • Tables will be available to rent daily after tournament play ends.
  • Ring Games & Mini-Tournaments (subject to change)
  • Players Meeting (9-Ball Banks) 10 a.m.
  • Play begins (9-ball Banks) 11 a.m.
  • Diamond Bigfoot 10-Ball 1 p.m.
